The baseball team has earned the American Baseball Coaches Association Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2023-24 academic year. This is the seventh straight season the team has earned the award. The Shockers had a 3.463 GPA and placed five student-athletes on the Academic All-District Team.

🔼 Welcome! The softball team has three new athletes on the 2025 roster! Ellee Eck is a graduate transfer from Stanford. She plays outfield and competed in the 2023 Women’s College World Series with the Cardinals. Makayla Navarro is a junior infielder from Florida International. She is a career .285 hitter with 37 runs, 65 hits, 12 doubles, four triples, one home run, 25 RBIs and 26 stolen bases. Jodie Epperson is a junior utility player from North Texas. She primarily played outfield for the Mean Green in 2024, making 21 starts.
