For the second straight year, renewals for volleyball, women's basketball and men's basketball will be streamlined into one process, making it easier than ever for Shocker Nation to lock in their seats and support Wichita State student-athletes.

🌾 ONE BIG THING

🔼 Triple Threat. The women’s basketball team had three players named to the CSC Academic All-District Team. Abby Cater, Taya Davis and Maimouna Sissoko were recognized for their combined accomplishments on the court and in the classroom. Cater holds a perfect 4.0 GPA while earning a Sport Leadership and Branding Certificate. Davis maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA while earning a Master of Education in Sport Management. Sissoko holds a GPA of 3.615 while earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Leadership and Learning.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Academic Honor. Men’s basketball player Karon Boyd was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team. Boyd started all 36 games and ranked second on the team in both scoring (10.1 PPG), rebounding (5.8 RPG), double-doubles (4) and steals (25). He is the first Shocker to earn academic all-district honors since Graham Hatch in 2010.

🔼 Selected! The bowling team earned the No. 2 seed in the Arlington Region for the 2026 NCAA Tournament. The regional will take place at the International Training and Research Center. The Shockers (73-33) will take on #3 seed Newman (73-30) in the opening round Mega Match on Friday, April 3.
