🔼 Three Cheers. Thanks to three Shockers scoring career highs, Wichita State women’s basketball earned a 92-86 comeback victory over Omaha on Monday evening in Charles Koch Arena—freshman Salese Blow led the scoring with a career-high 19 points, while sophomore Daniela Abies put up a career-high 18 points and 8 rebounds, and junior Ornella Niankan tallied a career-high 16 points with 5 rebounds and a career-high 5 assists.

🗣 Head Coach Terry Nooner: "It was a big-time team effort. We showed a lot of grit in the second half and especially in the fourth quarter dealing with some tough fouls and foul trouble throughout the game, but it's always good even when you feel like you don't play your best basketball that you can pull out a win. We'd rather have wins than moral victory losses."

📆 The Shockers will take a holiday trip to Daytona Beach, Fla., where they will take on Akron and Dayton in the Daytona Beach Classic starting Friday, Nov. 24 at 10 a.m. on FloHoops.com.
