🔼 Greatness Continues. Sydney McKinney has wracked up yet another award, this time, earning a First Team All-American selection by D1 Softball. Not to mention, this is the second year in a row she has been named an All-American. Just so we can lay it all out there, here are some of the things she accomplished this season:

1️⃣ Led the nation in hits with 103 and in batting average at .520

2️⃣ One track to become first D1 player ever to repeat as the batting average and hits leader

3️⃣ Holds both career and single season records in batting average, hits, runs, and on base percentage

4️⃣ Named AAC Player of the Year

5️⃣ Drafted No. 1 overall in the 2023 AU College Draft

McKinney is going out on a high note, marked by an incredible collegiate career here at Wichita State. Once a Shocker, always a Shocker!

Next Level. Basketball is on the minds of many around the country as the NBA Finals are set to begin later this week. As for our own Shockers, many have excelled in this year’s playoffs.
