The women's bowling team got a $100,000 donation to upgrade its facilities.

🌾 ONE BIG THING

The women’s bowling team just received a $100,000 donation from Karma and Gary Mason. The money will go towards the facility enhancement project, which will include a new locker room, conference room and offices for coaching staff inside the Rhatigan Student Center. Mason was a former Shocker bowler in 1975 when the team won the first-ever national collegiate team championship.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Rock the Medal. Senior infielder CC Wong played on Softball Canada and helped lead the team to a bronze medal! Canada had its third walk-off win to earn bronze. They beat the Netherlands 11-7 with a grand slam in the 11th inning.

🔼 Record Broken! Thank you to all of the Shocker fans who attended the round one game! The TBT organization had its highest-attended round one in history this year with 30,073 fans.

🔼 Summer Heat. The baseball team has some athletes competing in summer ball, and boy, are they HOT. Josh Livingston is on the Arroyo Seco Saints baseball team and has hit three home runs in his last three games against the Riptide. Brock Rodden is on the Arkansas Travelers and hit a three-run homer.
