🔼 Saturday Skid. Wichita State's struggles continued Saturday afternoon in a 88-75 loss at UTSA.
Despite the loss, there were some high points for the Shockers. Quincy Ballard set a new career high with 22 points, going 11-for-12 from the floor, also setting new career highs in field goals made and attempts. Xavier Bell recorded his fourth 20-point game behind a game-high 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting and 3-of-4 three-pointers. Also, the nation's third leading scorer, Primo Spears, was held under 10 points for just the second time this season.

🔼 Hardwood Heartache. American Athletic Conference leader UTSA led wire-to-wire in a 69-51 win over Wichita State Saturday afternoon in the Convocation Center.
Wichita State's Taylor Jameson led all scoring with 22 points, hitting a career-high six threes and shooting a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
Wichita State returns home this Wednesday to take on Tulane (10-5, 3-1 AAC) at 6 p.m. on Family Night.
