Wichita State men’s basketball won an OT thriller on Sunday afternoon off a Kenyon Giles steal-and-score that we still haven’t stopped watching on repeat. Giles finished with 22 points, while Karon Boyd added 17 and Michael Gray tallied 15.

The Shockers are back at it on Jan. 21 against East Carolina at 6:30 p.m. at home.

Wichita State track & field’s Chairo Ogbebor won the 60-meter at the Cliff Rovelto Indoor Track, running the second-fastest 60-meter time in program history at 6.73. The Shockers bring home nine top-three finishes and six new program records.

🔼 Ten Pins. Wichita State women’s bowling wrapped up the Northeast Classic with a third-place finish out of a field of 36! The team combined to bowl its first Baker 300 game in NCAA program history on Sunday en route to beating Maryville. Ashtyn Woods led the Shockers individually, finishing 20th. Wichita State will be back on the lanes from Jan. 23-25 at the Prairie View A&M Invitational in Arlington, Texas.

Wichita State split its season-opening slate, beating Texas State 4-0 and losing to No. 6 Oklahoma. Against Texas State, the Shockers didn’t drop a single set in doubles or singles play.
