🔼 Hall Of Fame. Wichita State announced the induction of Billy Hall into its Pizza Hut Shocker Sports Hall of Fame, celebrating a player who turned speed into legend. In 1991, Hall led the nation with 59 stolen bases while hitting .364, earning first-team All-American honors and helping the Shockers finish as College World Series runners-up. He and shortstop Chris Wimmer (54 steals, .401 average) formed a devastating top-of-the-order duo that fueled the nation's best offense—708 runs and 914 hits. The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is set for halftime of Wichita State baseball's Feb. 14 game vs. Tulsa.
