Congratulations to Mike Kennedy! The legendary play-by-play Voice of the Shockers, slated to retire at the end of the 2025-26 season, earned National Sports Media Association Kansas Sportscaster of the Year!

🔼 All Offense. Kenyon Giles brought his offense for the Shockers last week! Giles earned an American Conference Honorable Mention after averaging 26.5 points per game last week on 47.4 percent shooting from the floor and a 51.9 percent shooting from beyond the arc.

🔼 Game Day. It’s Game Day for Wichita State men’s hoops! The Shockers are set to take on Rice this evening at 6:30 p.m. from Charles Koch Arena. The game will air on ESPN+ and marks the team’s conference home opener. Wichita State is one of the nation’s best rebounding teams, averaging 15.1 boards per game, which is good for sixth in the country.
