Good morning, Shocker Nation. Wichita State men’s cross country knocked off No. 26 Arizona and No. 29 North Carolina to place fourth at the Pre-National Invitational on Friday, trailing only three top-15 teams in Syracuse, Villanova, and Notre Dame.

Elkana Kipruto took runner-up honors for the second straight year, and Nicholas Kipchirchir followed in third, with just one second separating the two Shockers from Tulane’s winner Silas Kiptanui. That sets up a heavyweight showdown at the American Conference Championships on Saturday, Oct. 31, at Lake Oaks Park in New Orleans.

What else are we mixing into today’s piping hot edition of the Shocker Brew? Find out below!
