The Shockers’ own Yared Kidane was named the AAC Cross Country Men's Athlete of the Week following his performance at the Bradley Pink Classic. The redshirt junior from Sweden raced to a fifth-place individual finish, running a personal-best 8K time of 23:58.0 to lead the Shockers to a top-five team placement. This marks Kidane's second top-five individual finish of the season and third-consecutive personal-best time.

🔼 The Last Round. Junior Kate Tilma climbed almost 30 spots on the final day of play to boost the Shockers to a 13th-place finish at the Diamante Intercollegiate at Diamante Country Club. Each day, the Shockers had one player finish even par for the round or better, but no other Shocker in a round could join the even or under-par trend. Brooklyn Benn was best on day one, firing an even par 72 round, Mackenzie Wilson shot a season-best 69 on day two, and Kate Tilma put up a 70 round on the final day to give herself a finish in the top 25.

🔼 Wear Pink. October is breast cancer awareness month, and Shocker Volleyball is doing its part in showing support for the cause. Be one of the first 500 fans at the Dig Pink match and receive a pink, color-changing cup presented by the Shocker Store. Additionally, a portion of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to breast cancer research.
