🔼 On The Greens. Wichita State men’s and women’s golf are back in action this week! The men’s squad is hosting the 2025 Grier Jones Shocker Invitational, which got underway yesterday, and runs through Oct. 7 at Sand Creek Station Golf Club. The Shockers are coming off a fifth-place finish at the SIUE Dolenc Invitational. Full preview for the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational here.
On the women’s side, Wichita State will tee off today at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate. Follow along with live scoring here.

🔼 Runs, Runs, Runs. Wichita State softball’s bats came alive this weekend as the Shockers began fall play, outscoring their opponents by a combined 43-2! On Saturday, the Shockers beat McLennan Community College, 14-1, before following that up with an even bigger margin of victory on Sunday afternoon. The Shockers took down Emporia State, 29-1, with runs coming from up and down the lineup. Check out some of the best moments from the game here, here, and here.

🔼 Run Wild. Wichita State’s Mercy Jepkoech posted her third top-10 finish of the season this weekend, finishing 10th in the 5K at the Chile Pepper Festival at Agri Park. The Kenyan freshman finished the race in 16:54.2, the best mark across all American Conference runners in the event.
