🥎 Shockers close out the fall schedule
🌾 And much, much more!

🌾 ONE BIG THING

Shocker volleyball took two of the first three sets but could not hold off a late charge from Rice as the Owls defeated the Shockers on Sunday afternoon at Charles Koch Arena. WSU got 13 kills apiece from Alyssa Gonzales and Morgan Stout, while Emerson Wilford finished just shy of a double-double with 10 kills and nine digs. The Shockers are back in action next Friday against South Florida with the first serve scheduled for 7 p.m.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Strong Start. Shocker men’s golf opened the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational with a 5-over par (293) round to finish tied for second as a team. Jose Ramirez led Wichita State with a 1-under par round to end the day tied for sixth while Michael Winslow shot even par to finish inside the top ten through round one. The Shockers will resume play this morning back three strokes as they look to defend their title.

🔼 That’s A Wrap. Shocker softball closed out its fall schedule with a high-octane offensive performance. In the final game before the Shockers take the diamond for real in 2025, WSU put up 18 runs against Southern Nazarene. In the circle, two Shocker pitchers put together a one-hit outing through seven innings.

🔼 Coming Home. The Wichita State women's golf team concluded play in the Ron Moore Intercollegiate on Sunday afternoon. Mackenzie Wilson was the highest finisher for the second straight tournament, shooting five strokes over par for the round, highlighted by a one-under finish in round three. Kate Tilma was not far behind at seven strokes over par.
