Shocker Brew 11/10: The Century Mark
Plus: Looking for the red marker.

Good morning, Shocker Nation. Wichita State men’s basketball surpassed the century mark on Saturday evening, downing Prairie View A&M, 105-62.
All five starters posted double digits as Wichita State got to 2-0 on the season, and all 11 players who suited up scored in the game. Will Berg, Kenyon Giles, and Dre Kindell each scored 15 points for the Shockers, with Berg setting a new career high.
Next up? Wichita State will host Loyola Chicago at the Roundhouse on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 6:30 p.m.

🔴 Red marker day
🌾 And much, much more!
🌾 ONE BIG THING

TJ Williams is from Wichita, and that means he’s earned a special place in the hearts of Shockers fans who love watching hometown athletes suit up for WSU. After two games this season, Williams is showcasing why he’s such a well-rounded player.

🔼 Red Marker Day. Wichita State head coach Chris Lamb uses a red marker during practice to mark kills. If the Shockers see a lot of red on the sheet, it’s a good day. “Blood everywhere” is Wichita State’s new name for an old drill designed to teach middles how to chop volleyballs around the block. Here’s why that’s paying off for Maddie Wilson and Wichita State.

🔼 Hold Serve. Wichita State’s Xin Tong Wang and Giorgia Roselli made an incredible push for an NCAA tournament berth as the duo fought hard in the third-place doubles match at the ITA Conference Masters. The Shockers were defeated 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (14-12). The pair will end the fall season with a 10-5 record in doubles and as the 2025 American Athletic Conference doubles champions.
