Wichita State has partnered with Vet Tix and 1st Tix to offer donated event tickets for military members, veterans, and first responders. Vet Tix offers free donated tickets to all service members and veterans, while the 1st Tix program offers free donated tickets to active and retired law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, nurses, and 911 dispatchers. Wichita State has donated tickets to WSU men’s basketball games and other sporting events as part of the initiative.

🔼 Honorable Mention. Wichita State men’s basketball’s Kenyon Giles earned an American Conference Weekly Honorable Mention after averaging 17.5 points per game while shooting 52% in the Shockers’ two wins to start the season.
