Good morning, Shocker Nation. Wichita State legend Mike Kennedy, the Voice of the Shockers, announced his upcoming retirement at the end of the 2025-26 season. Kennedy will be on the call through the end of basketball and baseball seasons before passing the mic. The Wichita State alum joined The Roundhouse Podcast to talk about his storied career, including his favorite memories with the Shockers.

Elkana Kipruto is heading to the NCAA Championships! Kipruto finished in seventh at the NCAA Midwest Regional on Friday morning to punch his ticket.

Meanwhile, three Shockers earned a spot on the All-Region team as Adrian Diaz Lopez joined Kipruto on the squad. Lucy Ndungu also earned a spot on the All-Region team, as she finished 25th in the women’s 6K.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Regular Season Finale. Wichita State volleyball closed off the regular season with a 3-1 win on the road at Temple. Sydney Dunning led the Shockers with 21 kills, while Brooklyn Legett added 14 and Jordan Heatherly posted a double-double with 46 assists and 10 digs. The Shockers will gear up for the American Conference Championship from Nov. 21-23 in Tampa, Florida.

🔼 Hard Fought Battle. Wichita State women’s hoops had two players finish in double figures despite falling to Missouri State, 66-57, on Saturday afternoon. Treasure Thompson and Jaila Harding sparked Wichita State’s offense as they combined for 22 points, while Bre’Yon White added eight points and eight rebounds. Wichita State will host Southeast Missouri State on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
