🌾 ONE BIG THING

Postseason volleyball comes to Wichita as the Shockers host the AAC Championship at Charles Koch Arena. The Shockers enter as the No. 4 seed and will play No. 5seeded Tulsa in the tournament's opening round on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Wichita State and Tulsa are meeting for the second consecutive year in the postseason after the Shockers defeated the Golden Hurricane 3-1 in the second round of the 2023 NIVC.

🔼 Mark Your Calendars. With a couple of months until the start of the season, Shocker baseball has unveiled its 2025 regular season schedule. The schedule includes a trip to Hawaii for the first time since 2013 and a home series with old rivals Cal State Fullerton and Missouri State, plus a midweek date at Globe Life Field against Abilene Christian.

🔼 So Classic. Wichita State men’s basketball will meet Saint Louis in the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City for the 2024 Hall of Fame Classic on Friday night. Saint Louis holds a 41-24 lead in the all-time series, but the Shockers have won each of the last six meetings. Coming in at 4-0 on the season, WSU is led by Justin Hill who leads the team in points (17.5 ppg) and assists (5 apg) is is second in rebounding (5.5 rpg) through four games.

🔼 Double Trouble. Ahead of the AAC Championship this weekend, Wichita State middle blocker Morgan Stout and setter Izzi Strand were named First Team All-American Athletic Conference. The Shocker tandem was selected Second Team All-Conference in 2023 and have delivered another standout campaign in their final seasons at Wichita State. Stout leads all middle blockers nationally in kills per set (3.10) and ranks second at the position in points per set (3.90) while Strand averaged 1.00 block per set with a career-best 14 solo blocks and 101 block assists.
