🌾 ONE BIG THING

The Shockers were caught on a bad shooting night as they fell to Temple at the Charles Koch Arena. Salese Blow led the scoring on the night for Wichita State for the fifth time this season after putting up 10 points as well as three assists, three rebounds and a steal. The Shocker bench helped put up more than half of their points with Jeniah Thompson leading the way with eight points off the only made three-pointer.

Next up, Shocker women’s basketball will travel down to the Lone Star State to take on North Texas on Sunday at 2 p.m.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 To The Desert They Go. Shocker men’s tennis will enter into its 2024 season as they head to Arizona to take on a trio of matchups against Grand Canyon, Northern Arizona and Arizona State. Second-year coach Darragh Glavin will help lead the Shockers this spring coming off a 2023 campaign that saw the team finish with double-digit wins.

Newcomer Vanja Hodzic and sophomore returner Alejandro Jacome led the Shockers in single wins in the fall with eight apiece while Jacome and Kristof Minarik collected the most doubles wins after earning four.
