🌾 ONE BIG THING

Behind a career night from Xavier Bell, Wichita State men’s basketball moved on to the semifinals of the Myrtle Beach Invitational with a 86-77 victory over Coastal Carolina. Bell’s 20-point night earned him the peak performer of the game, while Kenny Pohto, Colby Rogers and Dalen Ridgnal each added at least 15 points apiece.

🗣️ "I think road wins are hard, anytime you get in this environment and travel and all the things that go with it. I know we got up 14 with about 14 to play and you didn't expect anything less than for them to battle back. I thought we were really composed, made free throws down the stretch and we were fortunate to get the 'W' tonight." - head coach Paul Mills

The Shockers now move on to the semifinals where they will face Liberty tonight at 8:00pm for a chance to move on to the championship match
