🔼 Lessons Learned. The Shockers fell to Southeastern Louisiana at home in what was a tough matchup for the offense. Tre’Zure Jobe was the lone Shocker to finish in double-digits with 10 points as the team struggled from the floor, shooting 21.8% from the field.

🗣️ "We just hope that we can try to build off this and learn the tough lessons of what we need to do when we're in tough matchups like that." - Terry Nooner

The Shockers will return to the CKA to reset and face off against Saint Louis on Friday night at 6 p.m.

🔼 Spiders vs. Shockers. Coming off of a solid win against Norfolk State, the Shockers will head into a matchup at The Roundhouse against Richmond tonight at 6:30 p.m. A win for the Black and Yellow would improve the team to 7-1 and would match the best start for the program since the 2019-2020 season.

Kenny Pohto enters the matchup off a AAC Weekly Honor Roll selection thanks to his best performance of the season with 25 points, five assists, and eight rebounds, and the Shockers’ two leading scorers, Colby Rogers and Xavier Bell, come into the game averaging 16.1 and 15.1 points per game, respectively.

🔼 Blown Away. Fresh off the heels of a career-best performance, Wichita State’s own Salese Blow was named the American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week. Blow averaged 14.7 points per game through three contests last week, including a 20-point outing in the game against Dayton. The sophomore out of Malaga, Spain, currently leads the conference in field goal percentage and offensive rebounds per game.
