🔼 Job Well Done. In the first action of the season, Shocker women’s basketball surged past Missouri Southern for the exhibition win. Three Shockers finished in double-digits on the night, but none had a better performance than Tre’Zure Jobe. Jobe finished the game with 22 points in 29 minutes on the court, and she added five steals.

With the momentum going and the rush of excitement that surrounds the first live-game action of the season, the Shockers will open up the regular season looking to harness that same energy on the road against No. 23 ranked Oklahoma.

🔼 Black and Yellow and Mean Green. Shocker volleyball will begin its four-match homestand with two matches against North Texas at The Roundhouse tonight and on Saturday. The team heads into the match up alone in second place in the AAC standings and ranked 50 in the KPI.

Dating back to 1975, the Shockers hold a 10-4 all-time advantage against North Texas, including a 6-3 record under head coach Chris Lamb.

🔼 Head Honcho Hours. Each and every Monday, Shocker coaches will be live for an hour to talk about their programs on KFH 1240 AM or 97.5 FM. Can’t tune in live? Wichita State’s got you! All shows are archived, so Shocker Nation won’t miss any of the interviews from any of the coaches.

Head coaches Chris Lamb (Volleyball), Paul Mills (MBB), Terry Nooner (WBB), Brian Green (Baseball) and Kristi Bredbenner (Softball) will all hit the air during their respective seasons.

🔼 Same Place, Right Time. Shocker women’s tennis will wrap up its fall season this weekend at the Tulsa Invitational, competing in both singles and doubles matches against North Texas, Tulsa and Central Arkansas. For the first time this fall, the Shockers will all be in one place at the same time.

🗣️ "It will be good to be able to be together, support, and energize each other this weekend. The team element will be critical to our overall team success in the spring season." - Colin Foster
