🌾 And much, much more!
🌾 ONE BIG THING
After completing her college career as one of the most accomplished middle blockers in Wichita State history, Morgan Stout was named to the AVCA All-Central Region team. After earning Second Team All-Conference honors in 2023, Stout became a true force in her senior campaign, leading all middle blockers nationally with 3.15 kills per set and ranking second with 3.95 points per set, hitting a team-best .320 in the process.

🔼 Season Opening Dubs. Wichita State track and field’s Hudson Bailey and Brianna Utecht gave the Shockers the sweep of the multi-events at the Shocker Multi. Bailey earned a total of 5,317 points to take home the gold in the heptathlon while Utecht earned 3,796 points to win the pentathlon.
🔼 Joining Forces. For the first time ever, Wichita State Athletics has partnered with Homefield, a producer of premium vintage collegiate apparel. The line will feature retro Shocker logos from as far back as the 1950s, with a spotlight on the beloved Stomping Wu and the 1989 baseball national championship.
🛒 The initial line of Wichita State Homefield products is now available for purchase at www.homefieldapparel.com.
🔼 Protecting The Paint. The Shocker women’s basketball team defeated previously unbeaten Western Kentucky 64-59 on Sunday at Koch Arena by holding the Hilltoppers to a season-low 28.4-percent shooting and far off their 80-point average entering the game. Head coach Terry Nooner has emphasized a new defensive approach, and after WSU’s big win, he is ready to see even more of it.
🗣️ "Protect the paint first. We're being more solid, containing penetration and then being able to still build out to shooters." - Terry Nooner, head coach
