🌾 And much, much more!
🌾 ONE BIG THING
Following a stellar offensive output in the first half, the Shocker women’s basketball team claimed its first road win of the season with a 68-56 win over Loyola Marymount on Sunday afternoon. The Shockers led by as many as 25 points in a wire-to-wire victory over LMU, shooting 45.8 percent from the field. Three Shockers finished in double figures as Jayla Murray and Salese Blow each scored 14, and Princess Anderson put up 11.
🗣️ "It's always good to go on the road and have a double-digit win. This is a testament to us hitting the right man, playing the right way and sharing the basketball." - Terry Nooner, head coach

🔼 Mark Those Calendars. Wichita State head men's tennis coach Darragh Glavin finalized and announced his group's 2025 dual match season. A challenging slate awaits the Shockers in 2025, as the schedule features 22 dual matches, 12 of which are against opponents who finished last year ranked in the final ITA top 75 poll.
🗣️ "It will be a very challenging schedule for us, but that's what we as a competitive team want. For us to get better and develop, we have to be challenged, and this year's schedule is built to do that." - Darragh Glavin
🔼 Tough Road Test. Shocker men’s basketball went into halftime against DePaul with a five-point lead but was unable to hold on as WSU fell on the road, 91-72, on Saturday night. Now sitting at 8-2 on the season, the Shockers had won nine straight games when leading at the half. The team now drops to 20-7 under Paul Mills when holding a halftime lead. Four Shockers finished in double figures, led by Xavier Bell and Harlond Beverly with 14 points apiece.
