Shocker men’s basketball put up a fight, but eventually fell in a 74-64 loss to Kansas City. Xavier Bell scored a game-high 21 points on a night when he reached 1,000 career points while Justin Hill added 12 points.

🔼 An Honor. Following a big performance this past weekend, Shocker women’s basketball’s Jayla Murray was named to the AAC Honorable Mention Player of the Week list. With 14 points, six rebounds and four assists against LMU, Murray found herself on the conference’s list.

🔼 The Ultimate Goal. Nine Shocker student-athletes completed the ultimate goal of completing their studies and earning degrees this winter. From baseball and track and field to volleyball and cross country, WSU Athletics was well-represented during December’s graduation ceremonies.
