Shocker men’s basketball outscored Kansas State by 23 after halftime, erasing a four-point halftime deficit in a resounding 84-65 win on Saturday night inside a rocking Charles Koch Arena. WSU poured it on in the second half, scoring a season-high 55 points in the half to put the Wildcats out of reach.
Kansas native Xavier Bell entered the starting lineup for the first time this season and torched the Wildcats to the tune of a season-high 24 points on 9-of-17 shooting. Corey Washington tacked on his second double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds

🔼 Fight To The Finish. Shocker women’s basketball’s win streak came to an end with a close, 77-65 loss to Oral Roberts on the road. Four Shockers finished in double figures in the effort, led by Princess Anderson with 13 and Salese Blow, Jayla Murray and Ornella Niankan with 12 apiece.
🔼 Setting Records. Wichita State student-athletes recorded the highest semester cumulative GPA in school history with a 3.53 for the Fall 2024 semester. It was also the 39th consecutive semester of earning higher than a 3.00 cumulative grade-point average department-wide.
