Wichita State men’s track and field came in tied for second in the inaugural American Conference Indoor Track and Field Coaches’ Poll! The Shockers tied for second place with Charlotte behind South Florida, while the women’s team tied for eighth in the poll.

📈 STOCK UP

OT Thriller. Wichita State men’s hoops picked up a huge overtime win, beating Northern Iowa on the road, 74-69, on Saturday night. TJ Williams set a new career high with 18 points, with seven coming in the extra frame, while five different Shockers finished with double figures. Michael Gray Jr. contributed 15 points, while Kenyon Giles tallied 12, and Dre Kindell and Karon Boyd each added 10.

The Shockers are now 6-4, and will be back on the court on Saturday against DePaul at Charles Koch Arena at 11 a.m. The game will air on ESPNU, and you can secure your tickets here.

🔼 Homestand Continues. Wichita State women’s basketball fell, 56-52, to Maryland Eastern Shore on Friday evening. Diamond Richardson paced the Shockers with 14 points, while Bre’yon White added eight. Jaida McCloud was the team’s leading rebounder with five. The Shockers are back at it on Saturday against Loyola Marymount at 2:30 p.m. Grab tickets here.
