Shocker men’s basketball’s offense was operating like a well-oiled machine Saturday night in a 96-87 win over East Tennessee State, setting season highs in points and field goal percentage. Justin Hill recorded his second 20-point game of the season with a team-high 20 points while Corey Washington picked up his first double-double of the season behind 17 points and a career-high 13 rebounds. The win moved the Shockers to 8-1 for the first time since 2019 with the win.

🔼 Season’s Victories. Shocker women’s basketball handed Western Kentucky their first loss of the season with an impressive 64-59 victory over the Hilltoppers on Sunday afternoon. WSU allowed just 19 first-half points to WKU, building up enough of a lead to secure the fourth win of the season. Four Shockers finished in double digits with Salese Blow leading hte way with 13 points while Bre’Yon White recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

🔼 Getting The Gang Back Together. The Wichita State cheer team is set to host their annual cheer team alumni game on December 29 when the Shocker men's basketball team hosts Friends University. Shocker cheer alumni are invited back to Wichita and Koch Arena on Dec. 29 to take part in a special pregame and halftime cheer performance with the current Shocker cheer team and fellow Shocker cheer alums.
