🔼 This Is For All the Marbles. The Wichita State Shockers MBB team (18-13, 8-10) is in Fort Worth, Texas, for the 2025 AAC Championship at Dickies Arena. The 8th-seeded Shockers open second round action against No. 9 South Florida (13-18, 6-12) tomorrow (Thursday, March 13; 11:30 AM CT, ESPNU). The winner advances to face No. 1 Memphis in Friday's quarterfinals at 12:00 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
Wichita State and South Florida split the regular season series with the road team winning each game. Overall, though, the Shockers have dominated the series with South Florida since joining the AAC, going 10-3 against the Bulls with wins in nine of the last 11 meetings.

🔼 The Blow-By-Blow. No. 11-seed Wichita State's best start of the season and a career night from Salese Blow wasn't enough to rise above the No. 6-seed Green Wave, as the Shockers' WBB season ends with a 69-63 loss in the second round of the AAC Tournament.
Blow tied Rangie Bessard's all-time record (MVC 2017) for most Shocker points in a conference tournament game with a career-high 30 points, breaking the Shockers' all-time record for single-game points in an AAC tournament game.
Princess Anderson and Jayla Murray also finished in double figures.

🔼 Host With the Most. The AUSL (Athletes Unlimited Softball League) unveiled the schedule and locations for its inaugural regular season, which launches with Opening Day on Saturday, June 7, in Wichita and Chicago. Due to overwhelming demand from cities eager to host professional softball and as the popularity of women's professional sports continues to surge, AUSL has expanded its original plans to now include 10 cities, with more to be announced at a later date.

🔼 Softball Seeks Return to the Dub Column. The Wichita State softball team (10-12) travels up the turnpike to face the Jayhawks (12-8) in a midweek tilt tonight at 6 p.m. CT. The Shockers look to snap a five-game losing streak, their longest since 2020.
WSU started the season out strong, going 5-0 for the first time since 1994 and just the third time in program history. The Shockers' 5-0 weekend in Phoenix also marked the first time since 2021 they have gone 5-0 at an early season tournament.
