Good morning, Shocker Nation! A career-high seven RBIs from senior Camryn Compton powered Wichita State to a 13-5 win over the UTSA Roadrunners on Sunday afternoon at Roadrunner Field.
 
The win clinched the regular season series win for the Shockers (15-15, 4-5) over UTSA (14-16, 2-7).

🔼 On the Upward Trajectory. The No. 75 Wichita State men's tennis team takes on UNLV in a road match today at 1 p.m. CT.

The Shockers are 8-8 and have won three matches in a row. WSU is 4-4 on the road this year and has won four of their last five true road matches. Wichita State entered the ITA top 75 for the first time this season this past Tuesday, debuting at No. 75

Ilias Worthington leads the team in singles wins with 11 and the freshman has won three in a row, In doubles, the pair of Alejandro Jacome and Kristof Minarik have won six matches to lead the team.

🔼 Didn’t Seize the Sunday. Wichita State stranded 16 runners on base and went just 2-for-17 with runners in scoring position in an 11-5 loss at Tulane on Sunday afternoon at Turchin Stadium.

It was a frustrating offensive afternoon for the Shockers (8-15, 1-2), who drew 12 walks and were hit by a pitch four times, but managed only six hits on the day. Tulane (17-7, 2-1) hit four home runs and used 10 pitchers to keep WSU to two hits over the final six innings.
