Good morning, Shocker Nation! The Wichita State MBB team opens a two-game Texas road trip with a stop in Denton to face the second-place North Texas Mean Green tonight on ESPN2.
North Texas won the first matchup on Jan. 29 in Wichita, 58-54—the last loss before WSU's six conference games win streak. After going 1-7 in January, Wichita State went 6-1 in February. The six-game win streak matched the longest of the Paul Mills era.

🔼 WBB Wire-to-Wire Win. Wichita State WBB’s defensive effort gave the Shockers a 62-43 win over the 49ers on Saturday afternoon in Charles Koch Arena.
The Shocker defense held the 49ers to 11 points or less in all four quarters, forcing 17 turnovers and holding Charlotte to 17-for-55 (30.9 percent) from the floor and 0-for-11 from behind the arc.

🔼 Taking Titles Like It’s Their Job. The Shockers claimed three event titles, one meet record and one school record on the final day of the AAC Indoor Championships Saturday at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
After taking second in the pentathlon on day one, Destiny Masters opened day two with a season-best high jump clearance of 1.83m/6'0" to win back-to-back AAC indoor high jump titles. Hudson Bailey won the second title of the day, winning the heptathlon with 5,295 points. Luke Czarnecki claimed the silver medal with 5,178 points. Wichita State has now won the last four-straight AAC heptathlon titles.

🔼 Doling Out Donuts. The Wichita State women's tennis team earned a decisive 7-0 victory over the Abilene Christian Wildcats on Saturday afternoon. The Shockers pulled back even at 5-5 on the season with the win.
Across singles and doubles, the Shockers didn't lose a single set, the first time that's happened in the 2025 season and the first since February 2, 2024, in a 7-0 win at Oral Roberts.
The next match for the Shockers is tomorrow against No. 58 Tulsa at 2:30 PM at Michael D. Case Tennis Center. Go here for the preview/scouting report for this match.

🔼 Down the Rabbit Hole. Wichita State's seventh inning rally came up two runs short as they fell to the South Dakota State Jackrabbits, 6-4, on Sunday afternoon at Wilkins Stadium.

🔼 March Comes in Like a Lamb. Fresh off the program's first AAC tournament championship and an NCAA tournament appearance, Wichita State volleyball and head coach Chris Lamb announced their 2025 spring schedule on Saturday. The Shockers return 13 players from a team that finished the 2024 season with an 18-14 record.
The slate offers two opportunities to watch the Shockers at home, as WSU hosts Barton County CC and Emporia State on Wednesday, March 5 at 5:00 pm and then welcomes Kansas to Charles Koch Arena on Saturday, April 5 at 1:30 pm.

🔼 Seventh Inning Stretch Energy. Cal State Fullerton scored four times in the top of the seventh to rally past Wichita State 7-5 on Sunday afternoon at Eck Stadium.
Isaiah Gomez turned a 5-3 Wichita State lead into a 6-5 deficit with a three-run homer off WSU reliever Caleb Anderson (0-2), and two batters later Marcos Rosales added a solo shot of his own as the Titans (3-8) built a multi-run lead of their own into the late innings.
