🔼 Can’t Touch This Tennis. The No. 54 Wichita State women's tennis team earned their fifth consecutive victory with a 4-1 win over the UTSA Roadrunners on Sunday afternoon at Wichita Country Club.

The Shockers (11-6) are now 4-1 against American Athletic Conference opponents this season and dealt UTSA (17-4) their second consecutive loss with the win.

🔼 So Dang Close. Despite taking the dub on Friday and Saturday, the Wichita State baseball team dropped the finale on Sunday. The squad twice trimmed a seven-run deficit down to one but could never fully erase the margin, falling to UAB 11-9 in the series finale on Sunday afternoon at Eck Stadium.

⚾️ : FULL RUNDOWN

🔼 A Hard Softball Stop. The series finale between Wichita State and South Florida finished in a 7-7 tie due to the drop dead time set before the game of 3:10 p.m.

It's the first game to end in a tie for Wichita State (17-17-1, 5-6-1) since April 18, 2021 when the Shockers and UCF Knights finished in a 0-0 tie.

🔼 Cowboy Up. The Wichita State men's golf team opens play in their third tournament in The Grand Canyon State today when they begin competition in the Wyoming Cowboy Classic.

Last time out, the Shockers finished 11th in a loaded field that featured four top 30 teams at the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate back on March 18.

Another stiff field awaits the Shockers in Maricopa, as multiple top 50 teams are in the field, headed by No. 35 San Diego.

🔼 She’s Got This Mastered. Wichita State's Destiny Masters recorded the best heptathlon score in the NCAA on her way to an opening-weekend win at ESU Relays, and the Shockers claimed seven event titles and 20 top-three finishes in their outdoor season opener Thursday through Saturday at Fran Welch Stadium.
