The Shockers finished the game on a 12-0 run over the final two and a half minutes and held the Owls to just nine fourth-quarter points. The Third Team All-AAC selection scored a team-high 22 points and set a tournament single-game record with 22 rebounds.

🔼  Tee Time. Wichita State men's golf continues their spring campaign as they travel to Auburn University Club to compete in the Tiger Invitational. The Shocker lineup returns four of five Shockers from the Cancun trip with Lucas Scheufler joining the lineup for the first time since October 3rd in the Big O Classic. The tournament field is the strongest the Shockers have faced so far this year with over half of the tournament field ranked in the top-100.

🔼  Home Field Advantage. Three Wichita State pitchers held Long Beach State to just four hits as the Shockers claimed the series with an 8-2 win at Eck Stadium. It is the first series win against the Dirtbags since the 2009 season. The Shockers took advantage of five walks, four hit-by-pitches, four wild pitches and two passed balls to score in five of the final six innings. Camden Johnson put the finishing touches on the win with a two-run single in the bottom of the eighth, giving the freshman four RBI on the day. The Shockers continue the homestand by welcoming Nebraska for a pair of midweek games on Tuesday and Wednesday.

🔼  On To The Tourney. Wichita State men’s basketball closed out the regular season in New Orleans with an 85-75 loss against Tulane on Friday night. The Shockers will now play in the first round of the AAC Championship as the No. 12 seed. Colby Rogers recorded his third straight game with 20-plus points, scoring a career-high tying 29 on 6-of-13 from three-point range. Quincy Ballard recorded his third double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

🔼  Conference Clash. Shocker softball finished its AAC opening series against Florida Atlantic at 1-2 for the weekend. Wichita State took game two of Saturday’s doubleheader, 6-4, behind two sixth-inning home runs from Krystin Nelson and Addison Barnard that broke the tie to become the eventual game-winning hits. The Black and Gold capped off the series on Sunday with a 17-5 loss in six innings. The team will look to bounce back with a doubleheader versus the Kansas Jayhawks on Tuesday.

🔼 Spring Cleaning. Hosting Abilene Christian on Saturday, Shocker women’s tennis earned its fourth win in the last five matches with a 7-0 sweep. Following the doubles matches, four Shockers recorded straight-set victories including Theodora Chantava and Xin Tong Wang who gave up just three games. Next up, the Shockers will hit the road where they will compete against the North Texas on Tuesday and the No. 68 Liberty on Wednesday.
