🔼 Hall of Fame. Three Wichita State legends will be inducted into the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame on July 25 at the Kansas Star Casino in Wichita. Baseball pitcher Greg Brummett, the 1989 College World Series MVP who went 43-16 in his career and led the nation with 18 wins in the Shockers' national championship season, headlines the class. Basketball standout Maurice Evans, who scored 1,007 points in just 59 game, joins him, along with the Voice of the Shockers, broadcaster Mike Kennedy, who is retiring after 46 years. The Class of 2026 is the largest in Kansas Sports Hall of Fame history with 32 inductees.

🔼 Hold Serve. No. 28 Wichita State women's tennis (17-3) hosts Creighton (13-5) this afternoon at 4 p.m. and Tulsa (13-10) tomorrow at 1 p.m., wrapping up regular season play before the American Conference Championship. The Shockers have won 15 straight matches, the longest streak since 2016, and are a perfect 7-0 at home and 5-0 in American play. Doubles duo Xin Tong Wang and Giorgia Roselli are ranked No. 34 nationally after reaching as high as No. 9, the best doubles ranking in program history.

🔼 Weather Update. Shocker fans, take note of the updated times for this weekend’s softball series against UTSA. Wichita State will now play a doubleheader today at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. with the final game of the series slated for Saturday at 10 a.m. Full preview here.

🔼 The Roundhouse Podcast. Wichita State bowling is headed to the NCAA Final Four after winning the Arlington Regional, and juniors Ashtyn Woods and Sara Duque Jimenez join The Roundhouse Podcast to break it all down, including Beau Anderson's clutch bench contribution during the Shockers' run through the losers bracket.

🔼 What’s Next. Wichita State track and field splits into four groups for week three of the outdoor season, with athletes competing at the 44 Farms Team Invitational at Texas A&M, the Grizzly Gold Invite at Butler Community College, the John Jacobs Invitational at Oklahoma and the Arkansas Spring Invitational in Fayetteville. Highlights to watch include Josh Parrish making his outdoor debut in the 110-meter hurdles, school record holder Chairo Ogbebor racing the 100-meter dash (currently No. 7 nationally at 10.17), and the nationally ranked women's pole vault squad making its third outdoor appearance. Eight Shockers currently rank in the top 48 in the NCAA West region, headlined by Ogbebor and distance runner Elkana Kipruto (No. 15 in the 5,000-meter).

🔼 Top 10. Congratulations to the Wichita State Track & Field pole vault squad who is ranked 10th in the nation!
