🔼 In the Rankings. Wichita State women's tennis checks in at No. 32 in this week's ITA rankings, the highest of any team in the American Conference, ahead of Charlotte (No. 33) and Rice (No. 42). The Shockers have been ranked in the top 40 every week since the ITA computer rankings debuted on Feb. 19. The doubles pair of Xin Tong Wang and Giorgia Roselli earned a ranking of No. 42 for the 10th time this season, while Theodora Chantava holds steady at No. 94 in singles. Wichita State awaits an at-large NCAA Tournament bid, with the selection show set for April 27 at 3:30 p.m. CT.

🔼 On Deck. Wichita State softball carries an eight-game win streak into a midweek matchup at Kansas City before a crucial weekend series at North Texas, where the Shockers and Mean Green are separated by just one game in the American Conference standings: Wichita State and South Florida lead at 15-6, North Texas sits at 14-7.
Ausha Moore is the engine driving it all, homering in five straight games with seven home runs, 16 RBIs, and a .583 average over that stretch. Freshman Kinzey Woody is equally dangerous, hitting .470 in conference play with 10 home runs and 27 RBIs. Kammie Smith adds an 11-game hit streak, while sophomore Aeryn Shuman has hit .500 in her last five starts since cracking the lineup.

🔼 Wrapped Up Ranked. Wichita State men's tennis closes the 2026 season ranked No. 70 in the ITA rankings, the program's eighth consecutive week ranked, its longest streak since 2021. Zaid Al Mashni extended his own streak to nine straight weeks in the singles rankings, the longest for a Shocker since Tin Ostojic was ranked 21 consecutive times from 2014-16. Wichita State finished 13-10 with four wins over ranked opponents, including No. 45 Oklahoma State.
