It’s time for a double feature! Wichita State hosts No. 19/20 Oklahoma State for a unique doubleheader today. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. to finish a suspended March 10 game with the Shockers leading 8-3 in the seventh, then the originally scheduled game tips off at 6:05 p.m. on ESPN+. Freshman Kinzey Woody is on fire, hitting .490 in conference play with 7 home runs, while Trinity Allen is riding a five-game hit streak with 4 homers and 8 RBIs. The first 250 fans get yellow pom poms for a Yellow Out; don't miss it.

🔼 Keep Climbing. Wichita State women’s tennis climbed two spots to No. 28 in the latest ITA rankings after their weekend sweep, marking seven weeks in the top 30 this season and five straight. Wichita State leads all American Conference teams ahead of Charlotte (No. 32) and Rice (No. 54), with six ranked wins on the resume: SMU, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Rice, and Long Beach State. Xin Tong Wang and Giorgia Roselli hold steady at No. 34 in doubles for an eighth consecutive week, while Theodora Chantava sits at No. 102 in singles since March 3. The Shockers host Creighton on Friday at 4 p.m. CT.

🔼 Still Streaking. Wichita State men’s tennis moved up two spots to No. 61 in this week's ITA rankings after their 6-1 win at Drake, marking six consecutive weeks in the national rankings. Wichita State sits third among six ranked American Conference teams behind Rice (No. 50) and Charlotte (No. 54), with four ranked wins on the resume (No. 41 Oklahoma State, No. 54 Charlotte, No. 58 Nebraska, No. 73 Denver). Zaid Al Mashni checks in at No. 116 individually for a seventh straight week, the longest individual ranking streak since Haru Inoue's eight-week run in 2017. The squad’s next match is at the American Conference Championship in Tulsa, April 16-19.
