Good morning, Shocker Nation! A familiar face will be back on the Wichita State bench, as head MBB coach Paul Mills named former Shocker P.J. Couisnard an assistant coach.
Couisnard makes his return to Wichita State after a standout playing career for the Shockers from 2003-08 that included a 2006 Missouri Valley Conference title and Sweet 16 appearance.
Following his playing days at Wichita State, Couisnard returned to his native Houston where he built one of the more successful AAU programs, Cooz Elite. Since 2018, heโs been at the helm of Legacy School of Sport Sciences, where he's coached several NCAA D-I prospects.
