Sophomores Josh Parrish and Jason Parrish swept the men's hurdles, and Farrah Miller and Yared Kidane swept the 800-meter titles for the Shockers to highlight day three.

🔼 No Run-Of-the-Mill Thank You. Head Shockers MBB coach Paul Mills took time to thank Shocker Nation for its support of hoops this past year and every year.

🔼 We’re Listening. Register to attend one of our Live Q&A Sessions this summer for exciting updates and open dialogue regarding our new ticketing & giving structure.

🔼 He Is Unique. Wichita State MBB added another outside shooter to the mix with the signing of Brian Amuneke. Amuneke (pronounced Am-You-NEEK) has three years of eligibility remaining after completing his freshman campaign at Fresno State.
Amuneke played in 29 games as a true freshman for the Bulldogs, including six starts. He averaged 7.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and nearly one steal in 21.2 minutes per game. He shot 40.7 percent from beyond the arc, but saw that percentage increase to 42.3 percent (30-for-71) in conference play.

🔼 From Sugar Bear to Shocker. Wichita State women's tennis head coach Colin Foster signed his first portal pick of the offseason in Central Arkansas transfer Vichitraporn “Palmy” Vimuktananda. Foster was eager to add the Sugar Bear transfer, who is familiar with the Shockers, having played against them in the Central Region the last few years.
Palmy posted overall records of 22-15 in singles matches and 27-10 in doubles this season, competing primarily at court one in both singles and doubles throughout the year. Her 26 total wins in dual matches were the most among all Sugar Bears and were near the top of the Atlantic Sun Conference.
🌾 SHOCKER TRIVIA
Green Means Go. When Mauricio Millan launched a walk-off RBI double with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift Wichita State to a dramatic 6-5 win over Memphis on Friday night at Eck Stadium, head coach Brian Green reached a milestone in wins. How many victories did he reach that night?
