Good morning, Shocker Nation! American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year Blake Gillespie struck out 13 over 8.0 dominant innings as Charlotte bested Wichita State 7-1 on Tuesday evening at BayCare Ballpark.
Despite this blip, the postseason rolls on. The Shockers (20-35) will play South Florida today, 47 minutes after the conclusion of the first game that begins at 12:00 pm CT.

🔼 Keeping Track. ICYMI! Wichita State track and field claims four event titles on the final day of the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships, as the Shocker men recorded a runner-up team finish and the women took sixth Saturday at the Irwin Belk Track and Field Center.

Freshman Rikard Trogen Hedin gave the Wichita State Track & Field team a sweep of the multi-event titles on the second day of the AAC Outdoor Championships. Hedin's decathlon gold is Wichita State's fourth since joining the conference in 2017-18.
