Wichita State track and field is sending 14 athletes to the NCAA West Preliminaries today through Saturday in College Station, Texas.

…Wichita State track and field is sending 14 athletes to the NCAA West Preliminaries today through Saturday in College Station, Texas. Four Shocker women and 10 Shocker men made the cut for the West First Round of the NCAA Championships, and Destiny Masters was selected to compete in the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the heptathlon, ranking 15th overall, automatically punching her ticket to Hayward Field.

The Wichita State baseball team had a 32-29 season in 2024 that included a 15-12 mark in American Athletic Conference play, tying for third in the final conference standings. WSU went on to reach the championship game of the AAC Tournament for the first time in program history, falling to Tulane, 11-10.
