🔼 Squad Goals. Ahead of this weekend’s meet at Cessna Stadium, one Shocker track and field event squad came in with some high marks. The men’s 400m hurdles team was ranked No. 14 in the nation in the latest USTFCCCA poll.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 All The Runs. The Shockers went into Stillwater, Oklahoma for a midweek matchup against the Cowboys, but left with a 21-6 loss after seven innings of play. Wichita State let up 11 runs in tdhe first but bounced back with six runs of their own thanks to home runs from Derek Williams and Kam Durnin, as well as a pair of RBI from Jordan Rogers. The Shockers continue the road trip tonight against Kansas with a 6 p.m. first pitch.

🔼 The Roundhouse Podcast. On the latest episode of the Roundhouse Podcast, the crew gets into how Emerson Wilford's role will increase and why her talents remind head coach Chris Lamb of former Shocker, Emily Adney. He also breaks down how he thinks Sarah Barham, a transfer from Wofford, and returner Morgan Stout will give the Shockers strong blocking in the middle next fall.

Last season, the Shockers went 26-8 and 15-4 in the AAC. The Shockers won the National Volleyball Invitational Championship last fall – defeating Arkansas State, Tulsa, Drake, Montana State and UTEP.
