🌾 ONE BIG THING

Any way you slice it, Addison Barnard’s career at Wichita State is among the all-time greats in the history of Shocker Athletics.

Barnard, an outfielder who closed out her Wichita State career, hit 33 home runs in 2022 – one more than all the Shockers home run leaders hit total from 1977-1987. Her 94 career home runs are one more than the Shockers hit as a team from 1978-1994, and the 66 career stolen bases are first on WSU's list.

🗣️ "She's always been a great leader by example and somebody we could always count on working hard and competing. This year, she was much more than. She took them on her back. She led them vocally and did such as great job for a senior." - Kristi Bredbenner, head coach
