Shocker Brew 5/27: History Made

Today, a Memorial Day special of the Shocker Brew

Good morning! While Memorial Day has long signified the beginning of summer—complete with pool parties and the scent of barbecues permeating the air—we’d like to take the time to honor those who have served our country.

This morning, we hope you enjoy this sip-sized edition of the Shocker Brew, a single shot if you will. We’ll be back with your Venti-sized edition tomorrow.

🌾 ONE BIG THING

🔼 History Made. Shocker baseball advanced to its first AAC title game in program history after knocking off top-seed East Carolina twice. The championship game featured a back-and-forth battle with a combined 21 runs that ultimately saw the Shockers narrowly fall to Tulane, 11-10, on the final swing of the game.

Five Shockers were named to the AAC All-Tournament Team including Kam Durnin, Caden Favors, Lane Haworth, Josh Livingston, and Seth Stroh. The team finished the postseason with a 3-2 record and finished the 2024 season with 32 wins in head coach Brian Green’s first year with the team.
