Good morning, Shocker Nation. The Parrish twins continue to dominate on the track! Jason and Josh Parrish both qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Day 3 of the West Preliminaries, each breaking their own school records in the process.

Jason clocked 49.16 in the 400-meter hurdles, marking the third-fastest time of the day, to shave .01 off his program mark. Josh won his 110-meter hurdles quarterfinal in 13.17, the second-fastest time of the day, adding a second event to his Eugene itinerary after qualifying in the long jump on Day 1. Tyler Carroll also turned in a strong showing with a personal-best 13.70 in the 110 hurdles to finish 18th after entering seeded 42nd.

Wichita State's Jelese Alexander claimed the outright school record in the high jump at 1.87 meters (6-1.5), tying for the final qualifying spot to punch her ticket to the NCAA Outdoor Championships. The senior from Trinidad and Tobago joins the Parrish twins with Jason (400-meter hurdles) and Josh (110-meter hurdles, long jump) to give Wichita State four entries at Hayward Field from June 10-13.

🔼 Sunflower State Showdown. Wichita State men's basketball will face Kansas State on Dec. 11 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, adding a marquee Power 4 matchup to the non-conference slate. The Shockers won the last meeting 84-65 two years ago and hold a 12-23 record in the all-time series. It marks the first of back-to-back trips to KC, with Wichita State returning Dec. 18 for the Hall of Fame Classic against Drake.

🔼 Welcome to Wichita. Wichita baseball signed Jimmy Cafferty, a left-handed pitcher and Burbank, Calif., native. Cafferty joins the Shockers out of Glendale Community College, where he earned Western State Conference Pitcher of the Year honors.
