Wichita State athletes will compete in four events: Jason Parrish, Josh Parrish, and Jelese Alexander are set to compete in the 400-meter hurdles, 110-meter hurdles, and long jump.

Wichita State third baseman Jayson Jones was named to the ABCA/Rawlings Central All-Region Second Team. The Oklahoma State transfer finished tied for second in the American Conference in home runs (15) and RBI (56) while batting .355, and put together the seventh-longest hitting streak in program history at 25 games. Jones delivered down the stretch with at least one RBI in seven of the team's final eight games.

🔼 A Job Well Done. First-year Wichita State women's tennis head coach Jacob Eddins was named the 2026 ITA/Dunlop Central Region Coach of the Year after guiding the Shockers to one of the best seasons in program history. In his debut campaign, Wichita State climbed as high as No. 24 nationally, earned an NCAA Tournament at-large bid, and finished No. 35 in the final ITA rankings. Eddins coached Xin Tong Wang to American Conference Player of the Year honors and led the Shockers to the No. 1 seed at the conference championship for the first time. He is just the second Shocker to earn regional coach of the year, joining Chris Young in 2007.
