Landry Shamet is an NBA Champion! Shamet joins fellow Shockers Dave Stallworth (1970) and Nate Bowman (1970) as the only other Wichita State men’s basketball alum to win a title with the New York Knicks.

Today is the early renewal due date for season ticket holders! Renew your season tickets in-full or set up a payment plan by the end of the day to qualify for renewal rewards such as special gifts, priority point bonuses, and more.

The Shocker Athletic Ticket Office has extended their summer hours for today only to be open in-person and by phone from 9am to 6pm. You can also renew online HERE.

🔼 What A Season. Jelese Alexander earned All-America Honorable Mention in the high jump at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, clearing 1.79 meters to tie for 19th. The Trinidad and Tobago native ends her collegiate career as the program's outdoor high jump and long jump record holder, the American Conference outdoor high jump champion, and a national qualifier in two events.

🔼 Congrats, Coach. Legendary former Wichita State head baseball coach Gene Stephenson has been named the 2026 recipient of the Wayne Graham Award for Teaching Excellence by the College Baseball Foundation. Stephenson built the Shockers into a national powerhouse during his 36-year tenure (1978-2013), compiling an 1,837-675-3 record, winning the 1989 College World Series, and making seven trips to Omaha. A 2014 College Baseball Hall of Fame inductee and three-time NCAA Coach of the Year, Stephenson coached 33 future Major Leaguers and 54 All-Americans.

🔼 Welcome to Wichita. Wichita State baseball announced the addition of Jack Hogan, a Colorado native who spent last season with Southeast CC. Hogan, a first baseman and outfielder, brings a powerful bat to the lineup. He earned NJCAA All-American honors after belting 26 homers at Southeast CC.
