Good morning, Shocker Nation. The Shockers men's track and field team punched four more tickets to the NCAA Outdoor Championships Friday at the NCAA West Preliminaries at E.B. Cushing Station.
Sophomore Josh Parrish earned his second entry to the NCAA Championships, finishing third in his 110-meter hurdles quarterfinal. Redshirt-junior Yared Kidane punched his ticket with a gutsy finish in the 800-meter quarterfinals. Sophomore Jason Parrish auto-qualified in the 400-meter hurdles.
The quartet of Joakim Genereux, Josh Parrish, Kidane, and Jason Parrish clocked another school record time in the 4x400-meter relay.

🔼 Cat’s Outta the Bag. Wichita State head women's golf coach Tom McCurdy announced the signing of Manon Guille, an experienced transfer from Abilene Christian, to his team's 2025-26 roster.
Guille spent two years as a Wildcat, competing in 14 tournaments and 41 rounds. She recorded six top 20 finishes, including three top ten finishes. Her best career finish came in the 2023-24 season at the HCU Huskies Intercollegiate, where she tied for third. She comes to Wichita State with a career stroke average of 75.76.

🔼 Master Of Her Domain. The Wichita State women concluded competition at the NCAA West Preliminaries Saturday at E.B. Cushing Stadium.
Destiny Masters was the lone Shocker on the final day of competition. She placed 15th in a tough high jump battle, clearing 1.81m/5'11.25" on third attempt, just missing out on advancing to the NCAA Championships by three spots. She will still compete in Eugene, Ore., though, as she already punched her ticket in the heptathlon.
