Good morning, Shocker Nation. ICYMI! Wichita State's Jason Parrish's showing in the 400-meter hurdles back in May was named the AAC Men's Outdoor Track Most Outstanding Performance. And, alas, the hardware is here!
 
The sophomore from Olathe, Kan. ran a lifetime-best time of 49.17 to win the 400-meter hurdles at the AAC Outdoor Championships, upsetting UTSA's Hugo Menin.
 
His time set a new AAC Outdoor Championships meet record and Irwin Belk Track and Field Center facility record. He also moved to the top of the Wichita State record books, setting a new school record, and now ranks No. 1 in the AAC.
