Shocker Brew: 7/18: Fast Forward to TBT
AfterShocks will face No Excuses in the opening round of TBT tonight at 8 p.m. CT.

Good morning, Shocker Nation. Alas, TBT is HERE! The Basketball Tournament (TBT) —the $1 million, winner-take-all summer basketball event broadcast live on FOX Sports—will see the return of AfterShocks, a Wichita State University alumni team. The AfterShocks will host the Wichita Regional in Charles Koch Arena today through Tuesday, July 18-22.
AfterShocks will face No Excuses in the opening round tonight at 8 p.m. CT. If they advance, they will play the winner of Challenge ALS and Austin's Own on Sunday, July 20, at 8 p.m. CT on FS1.
The Wichita Regional championship game will be held on Tuesday, July 22, at 8 p.m. CT.
Shockers WBB and MBB team introductions will be held during halftime of tonight’s game.

Tri-Perfecta. Wichita State head softball coach Kristi Bredbenner has added three graduate assistants to her staff, all three former All-Americans for the Shockers during their playing days.
Sydney McKinney, Lauren Lucas and CC Wong will all make their return to the Shocker softball program after highly decorated playing careers in the Black and Yellow.
