🌾 ONE BIG THING

Fresh off a 26-win season and an NIVC title, Shocker volleyball is ready to take on the 2024 season after the team finalized its schedule. The 2024 schedule is highlighted by the return of the Shocker Volleyball Classic to Charles Koch Arena and a showdown against the 2023 national runner-up, Nebraska. Among the 11 non-conference teams the Shockers have on the schedule, five qualified for the 2023 NCAA tournament and seven finished the season in the top 100 of the RPI.

🔼 Going The Distance. Bowling’s most prestigious event for young competitors will feature rising Wichita State sophomore Sara Duque who will represent her home country of Colombia in the 2024 International Bowling Federation World Youth Championships. Duque is coming off a banner 2023-24 season in her debut campaign with the Shockers where she helped Wichita State to an 11th ITC national championship and shortly afterward claimed the ISC national championship, defeating her opponent 234-167.

🔼 Grind Never Stops. The Wichita State women’s basketball coaching staff is hitting the road this summer in search of future talent for the Shockers. Traveling to Texas and multiple states in the midwest, head coach Terry Nooner will lead the charge alongside members of his staff on the nationwide search.
