🔼 From Tee Box to Textbooks. It was another successful season off the course for Shocker women’s golf this year as six WSU student-athletes were named to the WGCA 2022-23 All-American Scholar list.

Being named to the list is no small feat as each student-athlete needed a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 to be considered for the honor.

3️⃣ Megan Lucas, Kenni Henson and Mar Vidal all earned their third consecutive selection to the All-American Scholar list.

2️⃣ Sophomore Sarah Lawson has found her name on the list again as she earned her second straight selection.

1️⃣ Brooklyn Benn and Mackenzie Wilson were named to the All-American list for the first time in their careers.

🔼 Successful Debut. After inking his two-year, two-way deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Craig Porter Jr. made his NBA Summer League debut with the team over the weekend.

In 20 minutes of play, Porter Jr. put up a solid stat line of eight points, seven rebounds, and three assists which helped his team secure the win over the Brooklyn Nets. The former Shocker has so far made the most of his opportunity.

🔼 Save the Date! The inaugural Black and Yellow Gala will be later this summer on August 19th at the Charles Koch Arena. The event will go directly toward the support of all Shocker student-athletes and teams. Join us for this fantastic fundraising event by purchasing tickets down below.
